Traveling Basketball Registration

5th – 8th Grade Boys & Girls

FEES: $120
ALL FEES NON-REFUNDABLE

~~Season Information:

The Traveling Basketball season varies by grade and gender.
7th – 8th Grade Girls – Season generally runs from mid-October through December.
7th – 8th Grade Boys – Season generally runs from January through March.
5th – 6th Grade Girls & Boys – Season can run from November through early March.
Teams will be scheduled for 4, 5, or 6 tournaments depending upon team size.

Tournaments are always on Saturdays.

Evaluations will be held in late July/August with the help of the high school coaching staff. Once those dates are set I will get those emailed out.

Team Selection:
7th - 8th Grades – In situations where there are enough sign ups to field two traveling teams, pre-season evaluations will be held and teams will be split by skill level. In situations where there are 11-15 players on a team, players will be set to rotate and will attend a select number of tournaments, with all players attending the home tournament. Every effort will be made by the coaches to allow fair/equal playing time among the players.

6th Grade – In situations where there are enough sign ups to field two traveling teams In situations where there are 11-15 players on a team, players will be set to rotate and will attend a select number of tournaments, with all players attending the home tournament. Playing time may not always be exactly equal at this grade level, but every effort will be made to get each player a reasonable/fair amount of playing time in each game.
